by owner Marc Ferrell. The second-place finisher
Repo (09 March Hip 24) sold for $15,000 and was
purchased from NexStar LLC by Dennis O’Neill on behalf of owner J. Paul Reddam.

Streakin Excess (07 Hip 178) finished third
in the $50,000 Fronteir Trophy Buckles
Allowance Stakes at 6 1/2 furlongs. The
daughter of In Excess consigned by Harris
Farms, Agent was purchased for $25,000
by co-owner G. Chris Coleman.

With his customary late run, Awesome Gem (05 March Hip 66) gained the lead in the final
sixteenth to win a $62,228 turf allowance at
1 1/16 miles by 1 1/2 lengths. The $1,283,682
earner by Awesome Again was consigned by Crupi’s Newcastle Farm and purchased for
$150,000 by Buzz Chase on behalf of West
Point Thoroughbreds.
Hollywood, June 26
October yearling sale grad Irridescent Red
(07 Hip 303) broke her maiden wire-to-wire as
the favorite in a $46,000 MSW at 6 1/2 furlongs
for owner Judi Partridge. Lane’s End Farm purchased the Memo filly for $30,000 from
Yakutis Enterprises LLC Agent for Gretchen
Graves and Janet Griffin.
Churchill, June 26
In his 2nd start, highly regarded John Kelly (08 March Hip 122) won a $48,001 MSW
by 2 1/4 lengths as the 2-1 favorite for owner
William K. Warren, Jr. The first-crop son of
Seattle Fitz consigned by Scanlon Training
Center, Agt was purchased for $600,000 by Mike J. Ryan.
Lone Star, June 25
In her first effort against winners, Noelle Rose (08 May Hip 214) won a 6 furlong allowance on
the main track. It was her second win in three
starts for owner Grace Stables LLC. From her
sire’s first crop, the daughter of Lion Heart was a
$300,000 purchase by Stonestreet Stables LLC from Havens Bloodstock Agency, Agent.
Woodbine, June 25
G2-placed Jungle Wave (07 May Hip 218)
maintained his perfect record in Canada with a
third consecutive victory at Woodbine. Winner
of his two previous starts on the main track, the
5-time winner switched to the turf, taking a
$61,661 allowance by 2 1/2 lengths. His time of
1:14 was a second off the course record.
Gregory Unruh purchased the son of Hold That
Tiger from Eddie Woods, Agent for $50,000.
